I’ve finally got htzvintage.com up and running. When I initially started this shop, the only storefront we had was at Etsy. The problem was that Etsy only allowed vintage items from 1997 and earlier. Htzvintage.com will allow me to bring you awesome stuff with no restrictions. If you haven’t checked out the site, please do!
So this is pretty much my Superman #1. Again, I should keep this but I have a business to run (plus if I just started keeping shit, my wife would probably murder me.)
I’m constantly looking for ideas of stuff to find for the shop, which is the hardest part about doing this. One of the things I like to do that helps, is read. I am currently reading, “Get In The Van” by Henry Rollins. The book is entertaining. Most of it is journal entries so the writing isn’t anything award winning, but it’s a great look into his life touring relentlessly with Black Flag.
In the book, I learned that “Damaged” was originally released on Unicorn Records (which was associated with MCA,) and that prior to it’s release, MCA president Al Bergamo had listened to it, labeling it as “anti-parent.” MCA refused to distribute the record because of this, despite the fact that everything was already pressed and packaged. Members of the band placed a sticker over the MCA logo which read, “As a parent… I found it an anti-parent record.” This sticker is present on the first 25,000 copies.
I have one on the way to me and it should be in the shop in a few days. Pretty excited about this find. At the time when I initially was searching for this album, there was only one on discogs listed at $400.00.
This should be up in a few days!
I’ve been eyeing this for quite some time and finally got my hands on a copy. In 1995, Rich Egan/Vagrant Records released “West X North South”, a box set of 7-inch albums from various bands. When the albums were first released, it was priced way too low, thus selling out immediately with the label making barely anything. The issue was later corrected when they mass released it on a CD, however the vinyl is now hard to come by.

A really cool sweatshirt just came in last week for another one of my favorites, “Jawbreaker.” This sweatshirt is a Large and is in stellar condition.
One of my favorite bands of all time, I was lucky enough to get my hands on this 11 x 17 original poster for Sunny Day Real Estate. The poster has been framed and is up in the shop right now.
This is one of those items that I’m fine not selling. Great gift for a collector.
Going to start updating this blog a little more than I have been. Still flipping great vintage tee’s as always but have been so busy finding cool stuff for you all, that my time allotment for blogging is like zero….

The Deftones have released a teaser for their new album, with a clip titled, “Gore.” The album release date is set for April. Check out the vintage Deftones shirts at Hometown Zero Vintage!
When I first opened shop, I had an extremely rare Green Day Basket Case shirt, printed on a Brockum Tee, that I sold for $80.00. I have since landed two more rare Green Day shirts that you will have a problem finding anywhere else.
This shirt is in really good condition considering the age. There is a tiny hole on the side near the armpit (as pictured). This is a rare shirt and I haven’t been able to find another. This is available at Hometown Zero Vintage for $50.00.
The second rare Green Day shirt I have is from the insomniac Tour. This shirt is in mint condition and looks like it was barely worn.
